I am always thankful for my status as a Huntington Scholar, partially because it allows me to focus less on my finances and more on my aspirations and partially because it tells me that I am seen and valued by more people and organizations than I may ever know. I like to remind myself of this whenever I feel low, or I am struggling to feel seen. As a woman in STEM (Electrical Engineering), it can be easy to feel overlooked or succumb to imposter syndrome, so this scholarship truly helps more than I ever imagined a scholarship would. Thank you again for granting me this privilege and assistance.
