“Receiving the Huntington Foundation scholarship has been life changing for me. As a nursing student, the workload is intense, and the financial demands can feel overwhelming at times. This scholarship eased that burden and allowed me to focus more fully on my studies, clinical training, and community service. More than just financial support, this scholarship reminded me that there are people who believe in my potential and want to see me succeed. It gave me the motivation to keep going on the hard days, and it reinforced my passion for becoming a nurse who serves with compassion, skill, and integrity. Thanks to your generosity, I’m one step closer to my dream of making a difference in the lives of patients and their families. I’m so grateful to the Huntington Foundation for investing in my future.

I am currently a senior at Ursuline College but my journey started back in my junior year of high school. I was introduced to a nursing program called Aspire, which is through the Cleveland Clinic. They continued to support me the rest of high school and all through college. I am a first generation student, which helped solidify my choice to be the first nurse and college graduate in my family. Future-wise, I want to get a couple years down as a bedside nurse, maybe within the Med-surgery specialty, then I would like to end up working at the Cleveland Clinic in London.”
